Bologna secured their place in the Europa League Round of 16 with a 1-0 victory over SK Brann, winning the tie 2-0 on aggregate. Joao Mario scored the decisive goal, while Brann were reduced to 10 men following a red card for Jacob Sorensen.
The Rossoblu started 2026 in poor form but have turned things around with three consecutive wins. Bologna will now face either Roma or Freiburg in the next round after the draw takes place on February 27.
