Nebraska-Omaha Player Rescues Man From Sinkhole

University of Nebraska-Omaha women's basketball player Olivia Borsutzki and teammate Esra Kurban sprang into action to rescue a man trapped after a sinkhole swallowed two vehicles at an intersection.

Borsutzki, a junior guard from Germany, pulled the SUV driver from the earth, which officials say was caused by a water main break. Despite the 30-50 foot wide hole, the player left her car to help immediately.

Borsutzki expressed shock that bystanders were filming instead of helping. Her teammates and family have since praised her bravery, with one coach calling her a 'very strong, big dog.'
