Let’s look at the Las Vegas Raiders 2026 unrestricted free agents and whether the team should retain them:
Do it now:
Dan Carlson, Eric Stokes
Stokes is the bigger priority. Raiders general manager John Spytek has said the team has been in contact with the cornerback and they’d like him back. The Raiders have the means and the need. Get it done. Carlson may be slipping some, but he’s still solid and it’s easier to keep him than start over at a position that can be tricky to fill.
Not right away:
Jamal Adams
Jacob Bobenmoyer
Lonnie Johnson
Malcom Koonce
Raheem Mostert
Dylan Parham
Kenny Pickett
Jon Rhattigan
Elandon Roberts
Ian Thomas
I believe these players can all be valuable to the Raiders, but the team should try to get better options first. But, if the timing and the price is right, a strong case can be made for these players to return in some role.
No thanks:
Alex Bachman
Stone Forsythe
Darnay Holmes
Tyler Lockett
Devin White
Zamir White
If a couple of these players return in a small role, that’s fine. But all of these players are replaceable.
Conclusion:
There aren’t a lot of high-proirity free agents for the Raiders in 2026. So, they have plenty of flexibility and can concentrate on using there massive salary-cap room for upgrades and then pick and choose from most of their free-agent class.
Who do you think they should try to keep?
