Stewart Powers Mist Past Plum to Claim Unrivaled Title

Breanna Stewart and the Mist surged ahead in the second half to overcome Kelsey Plum and the top-seeded Phantom in the Unrivaled championship game. The victory, secured at Sephora Arena in South Florida, gives each Mist player a $100,000 prize, up from $50,000 last season.

Plum scored a playoff-record 40 points with 6-of-7 shooting from 3-point range, but Stewart's 32-point performance proved decisive. The Mist earned the $600,000 total prize pool after finishing the regular season with two losses to the Phantom.
