Scotland Fans: Vote for Best National Team Goal Ever

Scotland fans are being invited to vote for their all-time greatest national team goal as anticipation builds for the World Cup.

The Scottish FA has launched a campaign to determine the country's greatest men's national team goal, asking supporters to nominate their favorites for a potential top 16 list. Legendary goals mentioned include James McFadden's long-range effort against France in 2007, Archie Gemmill's 1978 World Cup goal against the Netherlands, and Scott McTominay's spectacular overhead kick against Denmark last November.

Other contenders include Kenny Dalglish's strikes against Spain and Belgium, Leigh Griffiths' 2017 free-kicks against England, and Dave Narey's famous 'toe poke' against Brazil in 1982. With nominations submitted, the Scottish FA plans to begin an elimination voting process across its platforms.
