Rockford to Host 2027 Women's Baseball World Cup

Rockford will also host the Women's Baseball World Cup Group Stage in July 2026, marking the first time the event will be held in Illinois. The World Cup is a two-stage championship featuring the world's best women's baseball players, with Japan having won the last seven titles while Team USA won the first two in 2004 and 2006.

Ticket information for the events will be announced soon. The International Women's Baseball Center is also working on renovations to Beyer Stadium at Maybelle Park in Rockford, with the first phase expected to be completed next summer.
