Miami Stays Unbeaten With Win At Eastern Michigan

No. 21 Miami University remained the nation's only unbeaten Division I team with a 74-64 victory at Eastern Michigan on Tuesday night.

Brant Byers led four RedHawks in double figures with 16 points as Miami improved to 28-0 overall and 15-0 in the Mid-American Conference. Antwone Woolfolk scored 14 points, while Peter Suder had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, also reaching his 1,500th career point. Almar Atlason added 12 points off the bench.

The RedHawks led by as much as 26 points and held Eastern Michigan scoreless for the first 6:30 of the game. Miami's next contest is at Western Michigan on Friday, Feb. 27 at 6 p.m.
