Manchester United climb to third after 2-1 win over Palace

Manchester United secured a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford, with Bruno Fernandes and Benjamin Sesko scoring, to climb to third place in the Premier League.

Maxence Lacroix opened the scoring for Palace with a corner in the fourth minute, but United equalised in the 52nd minute when Matheus Cunha broke through alone. A VAR review awarded a penalty to United after Lacroix was fouled in the box; Bruno Fernandes calmly converted, and a minute later he also scored from the spot after a foul on Benjamin Sesko. Sesko then struck a free‑kick goal to seal a 2‑1 win.

The result lifts Manchester United to third place in the Premier League, while Crystal Palace drop to 15th. United’s victory gives them three crucial points as they chase a top‑four finish.
