Kings end 16-game skid with win over Grizzlies

The Sacramento Kings snapped a franchise-record 16-game losing streak with a 123-114 victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night.

Russell Westbrook scored 25 points and Precious Achiuwa added 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Kings to their first win since January 16. DeMar DeRozan and Daeqwon Plowden each contributed 20 points, with Plowden scoring 10 in the fourth quarter.

Javon Smalls led Memphis with 21 points and nine assists. The victory comes as the Kings, who had the NBA's worst record, look to build momentum after ending their longest losing streak in franchise history.
