AJ Styles To Be Inducted Into WWE Hall Of Fame After Leaving Gloves In Ring On Raw

AJ Styles got a special send-off in the main event of "WWE Raw," leaving his gear in the ring before being informed by the Undertaker that he would be the first inductee of the 2026 Hall of Fame class.

TNA legends Frankie Kazarian and Christopher Park, now a WWE producer, donning the Abyss persona were in attendance. But so were former WWE and NJPW stars, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows, who together as the Good Brothers rode alongside Styles as part of Bullet Club and its WWE-equivalent the OC.

Long-time absentee Omos was also in attendance for his championship-winning tag partner. He has been appearing in AAA as of late.

Styles came out to the ring for his segment and was immediately emotional as the crowd showered him with "Thank you AJ" chants. He joked that he would have worn a suit, but the last time he did he was beating up Cody Rhodes.

He took off his jacket and dropped it to the ring canvas, followed up with his signature gloves, and gave one last 'thank you' and 'love you' to close out. The locker room came out to the ramp, along with Paul "Triple H" Levesque to give Styles one last round of applause along with the crowd. And then the Gong of Undertaker's entrance saw the lights go out, coming back up with the Hall of Famer making his entrance on a bike.

Undertaker asked if he was just going to leave his stuff in the ring and go, before continuing to say that they have unfinished business, and revealing that Styles will be the first inductee into the 2026 WWE Hall of Fame class. That brought more tears of joy to Styles eyes as they embraced and his family joined him at ringside to close the night off.

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was a Jeopardy clue — except no one knew the answer

Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was a Jeopardy clue — except no one knew the answer originally appeared on The Sporting News. Add The Sporting News as a Preferred Source by clicking here.

Well, no one on this episode of Jeopardy is an NBA fan.

Because this clue? It was an absolutely wide open layup.

They put a picture of Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Shai Gilgeous-Alexander on the screen.

Then they described everything he accomplished during the 2024-25 NBA season, including his MVP and his championship.

And, well, nothing. Not a single buzz in to guess.

Here's how it looked on the show:

To anyone reading this story on this website, it's probably stunning that SGA wouldn't be known.

But seriously, there are people who don't watch sports, or read about sports, or talk about sports.

Gilgeous-Alexander is a Canadian playing in Oklahoma City. As far as headline grabbers go just to the totally non-sport fan, he doesn't have a lot going for him.

Still, it seems he may have come across the radar once or twice while winning MVP and a ring.

Apparently not. Gilgeous-Alexander will just have to do it all again.
