Makai Lemon lists 3 NFL quarterbacks he would want to play with
In a pre-combine interview, USC's Makai Lemon was asked what three NFL quarterbacks he would love to catch passes from.
Here is my ranking of the three quarterbacks he listed, my favorite pick for a quarterback he would dominate with, and my actual prediction for which quarterback he will catch passes from:
1. Caleb Williams
In 2023, Caleb Williams and Makai Lemon were both at USC, but it was not the special connection it would be if the 2 were on the same team again in the NFL. Having that connection prior to teaming up does create an advantage and a better sense of trust. Caleb Williams is a big anticipation thrower, and if he trusts you, that ball is going to come out before you even finish the route. I think that with Lemon's ability to get open and what he can do after the catch, he would be a dangerous weapon with Caleb Williams. Everybody in Chicago would be mad if the Bears took another offensive player, but if Lemon ended up in Chicago, I think he would be their best receiver.
2. Jayden Daniels
Jayden Daniels has so far had a great connection with Terry McLaurin, a smaller but effective receiver. Lemon fits that bill, and he is cut with the same cloth. I think Lemon could be just like scary Terry with an even higher ceiling. The Commanders' offense is at its best with guys that can make things happen after the catch, and guys that can take the top off of a defense. Makai Lemon would be an 1000 yard reciver year in and year out with Jayden Daniels.
3. Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers would be even more fun if he wasn't currently 42 years old. Lemon has those traits of the former great Packers receivers. Rodgers is accurate as it gets from the quarterback position, and he puts his receivers in great position to succeed. I think had he been in his prime in Green Bay, Lemon would have lit it up with Aaron Rodgers.
My favorite pick - Matthew Stafford
The two best receiver seasons in NFL history have been achieved with Matthew Stafford at quarterback. Matthew Stafford, still at the back end of his career, has helped receivers put up career years. Even if it is for his first 2 seasons in his career, I think Makai Lemon would be the most productive with Matthew Stafford. Mix in the fact that Sean McVay would also be putting him in a great position to be successful. Yeh Makai Lemon would have his best shot at rookie of the year with the Rams.
My actual prediction - Lamar Jackson
The Ravens just hired offensive coordinator Declan Doyle, and he is cut from the same cloth as Ben Johnson. It would make sense that he wants to take the Ravens offense to new heights. Why not bring in a guy who is an Amon-Ra St. Brown clone? Makai Lemon and Lamar Jackson would be must see tv. Lamar has yet to have that super reliable and always open weapon at the receiver position. Zay Flowers is a great recover but he comes with some major flaws. I think Lemon would be just what the doctor ordered for Lamar Jackson, and both guys would dominate this upcoming season in Baltimore.

Ciampa's WWE Departure Timeline Clarified
Tommaso Ciampa's AEW debut timeline has been clarified by Fightful Select, which initially reported he could have appeared on January 21 before debunking the claim. Sources confirmed Ciampa was still under WWE contract until January 28, when he debuted on "AEW Dynamite." The "Psycho Killer" revealed his debut came together last minute while he was on vacation in Texas.
After his surprise debut, Ciampa continued his vacation before appearing on "AEW Collision" where he won the TNT Championship from Mark Briscoe. His championship reign ended on February 11 when Kyle Fletcher defeated him. Ciampa has been active in AEW since his debut, with his quick transition from WWE to AEW causing confusion about his contractual timeline.
Why Lions and Texans agreed to trade for running back David Montgomery

The Detroit Lions and Houston Texans have reportedly agreed to a trade.
According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Lions are sending running back David Montgomery to the Texans in exchange for a fifth-round pick.
"Trade: Lions are sending RB David Montgomery to the Texans for a 5th-round pick, per sources," Schefter reported.
Montgomery was widely viewed as a trade candidate going into the offseason, and now a trade has come to fruition.
Why Lions, Texans trade happened
A recent report suggested Montgomery wanted out of Detroit.
Montgomery saw his role decrease behind Jahmyr Gibbs last season and was clearly not thrilled with that arrangement, which led to general manager Brad Holmes admitting that Montgomery could get moved in 2026.
"Those are discussions that we're going to have a lot more in depth, in terms of, like, what is the best plan for him going forward? Is it somewhere else, or whatever the case be?" Holmes said.
As for the Texans, they are almost certainly going to cut veteran Joe Mixon, who missed all of last season with a foot injury.
Houston needed a veteran starter at the top of the depth chart to complement Woody Marks and Jawhar Jordan. Montgomery checks that box.

Tottenham ban three fans over Nazi salutes during Champions League tie
Tottenham Hotspur has confirmed it has imposed indefinite bans on three supporters for making Nazi salutes during a Champions League fixture in Germany.
The offensive gestures were performed during Spurs’ 2-0 victory against Eintracht Frankfurt in late January.
Uefa sanctioned the London club for the behaviour, imposing a €30,000 (£26,212) fine and a suspended ban on selling away tickets for one match.
Tottenham had previously labelled the conduct as "utterly abhorrent conduct" and vowed to punish those responsible.
“The club has been informed of sanctions handed down to us by Uefa following the utterly abhorrent conduct of a small number of individuals at our recent Champions League away match in Frankfurt,” a statement read.
“The club has cooperated fully with Uefa’s investigation, as well as with German police on the night and, subsequently, the Met Police.
“We can confirm that all three individuals found to be making Nazi salutes towards Eintracht Frankfurt fans have been identified and have received indefinite bans under the club’s Sanctions and Banning Policy.
“The club stands firmly against all forms of discrimination and has therefore taken the strongest possible action. The disgusting behaviour of a minority of so-called fans on the night is in no way reflective of the values of our club and its supporters.”
Spurs received a further fine of €2,250 (£1,966) for the “throwing of objects” by fans at the match on 28 January.
The Uefa Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Board (CEDB) has brought the charges against Spurs, who are in a precarious position domestically after a record-equalling 10-match run without a win in the Premier League.
A statement read: “The CEDB has decided: To fine Tottenham Hotspur €30,000 and to ban Tottenham Hotspur from selling tickets to its away supporters for the next one (1) Uefa competition match, for the racist and/or discriminatory behaviour of its supporters.
“Said ban from selling tickets to its away supporters is suspended for a probationary period of one (1) year, starting from the date of the present decision.”
Tottenham’s next Champions League fixture is a last-16 tie away to Atletico Madrid on 10 March.
