Mosquera, Calafiori And Lewis-Skelly To Start | 4-2-3-1 Arsenal Predicted Lineup Vs Brighton

Arsenal will face off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium this Wednesday night as they look to secure a victory on their travels in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn a narrow 2-1 win over Chelsea recently, so they will be keen on keeping their good form going in the league.

Mikel Arteta will set his side up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make a few changes to his first team. Cristhian Mosquera, Riccardo Calafiori and Myles Lewis-Skelly could all play from the start of this game.

Defence

David Raya will feature in between the sticks for the Gunners after he shipped in one goal in his last appearance. Gabriel will operate alongside William Saliba at the heart of the Arsenal backline as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.

Cristhian Mosquera will play as the right-back, while Riccardo Calafiori fills in on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.

Jurrien Timber and Piero Hincapie will be rested on the bench as they offer cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Myles Lewis-Skelly and Martin Zubimendi will anchor the midfield for the North London club as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park.

The talented trio of Gabriel Martinelli, Kai Havertz and Bukayo Saka will play just ahead of them as part of the Arsenal attack. All three of them need to be at their best if the Gunners are to come out on top this week.

Leandro Trossard, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze will have to settle for a place on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.

Attack

Viktor Gyokeres will spearhead Arteta’s attack up top. He has to figure out a way to be a constant menace in the final third.

Gabriel Jesus will have to be content with a spot on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if the Gunners are in need of a goal by then.
