The 2026 league year is coming next month. It officially begins on March 11, with the legal negotiating period beginning on March 9.
The Arizona Cardinals have many roster decisions to make before then.
Leading up to the new league year, we will profile every player on the roster, go over what they did last season, what their contract status is and what they face in 2026.
Next up is offensive lineman Isaiah Adams.
Isaiah Adams 2025 season
Adams entered the season as the team's starting right guard. He was praised all offseason and training camp for his work and improvement after starting five games to end his rookie season in 2024.
However, he struggled out the gate and was benched in favor in Will Hernandez in Week 5.
He did find himself back in the lineup after Hernandez got hurt.
Adams played in every game and started 11 of them, 10 at right guard and one at left guard.
Isaiah Adams contract status
Adams enters the third year of his four-year rookie deal. He will make $1.34 million in 2026 and count $1.63 million against the salary cap.
Isaiah Adams offseason outlook
The new coaching staff will have to look at Adams and determine whether he is part of their plans moving forward. Now in Year 3, it might be time to move on. However, his play was better late in the year, so he might go into the offseason program as a starter. The Cardinals could also look for a starter in free agency, leaving Adams to compete for a spot on the roster as depth.
