Jiri Prochazka vs. Carlos Ulberg: Odds and what to know ahead of UFC 327

A new light heavyweight champion will be crowned at UFC 327 when Jiri Prochazka and Carlos Ulberg clash in Miami for the vacant title left behind by Alex Pereira.

Jiri Prochazka vs. Carlos Ulberg preview

Prochazka (32-5-1 MMA, 6-2 UFC) looks to reclaim his title, as he crowned himself champion in 2022. However, an injury forced him to vacate his belt, and he's been unable to reclaim it since, falling short on two different occasions against Pereira, who beat him both times by TKO. Prochazka had a fruitful 2025. He picked up TKO wins over former champion Jamahal Hill and former UFC title challenger Khalil Rountree Jr. to put behind his second defeat against "Poatan."

Ulberg (13-1 MMA, 9-1 UFC), on the other hand, sports one of the longest win streaks in the promotion. He's won nine consecutive bouts since losing his UFC debut in 2021, and has beaten several notable names in the process. Ulberg was last seen in September when he stopped Dominick Reyes in the first round of their main event bout. Ulberg trains out of City Kickboxing in Australia, alongside former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya.

Jiri Prochazka vs. Carlos Ulberg odds

According to DraftKings, former titleholder Prochazka is a -143 favorite to become a two-time champion, while the streaking Ulberg is a slight +116 underdog to take the belt back to New Zealand.
