Inter Milan could reportedly sell star midfielder Nicolo Barella at the end of the season to strengthen their summer war chest.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, the Italian ace could fall victim to the club’s planned overhaul.
Nicolo Barella has become one of the symbols of this Nerazzurri side since joining the club from Cagliari in 2019.
Indeed, the 29-year-old has made over 320 appearances for the club in all competitions, racking up 26 goals and 66 assists.

Despite his influential presence in the dressing room, Barella’s form has fallen off a cliff this season.
For context, the diminutive midfielder has found the net just once in 32 appearances, while providing six assists.
However, his dramatic downfall could affect his long-term status at San Siro, with Inter reportedly contemplating a shock summer sale.
With Barella’s contract running until 2029, it would take a significant offer for the Nerazzurri to part ways with the Italian ace.
