Inter Milan coach Cristian Chivu has decided to start Davide Frattesi and Yann Bisseck against Bodo/Glimt in the second leg of the 2025/2026 Champions League knockout playoff tie.
The official lineups for tonight’s Champions League match, which kicks off at 21.00 CET at San Siro, have been published.
Bodo/Glimt capitalized on the synthetic surface in last weekend’s first leg, defeating the Nerazzurri 3-1 at the Aspmyra Stadion.
Therefore, the runaway Serie A leaders have a mountain to climb here, looking to pull off their first Champions League knockout comeback in 15 years.
However, there’s plenty of reason for optimism around the San Siro camp.
Indeed, Cristian Chivu has received a major injury boost ahead of this clash, with Denzel Dumfries returning to the squad after a three-month absence.

Although he came under heavy scrutiny in the aftermath of the Derby d’Italia, Alessandro Bastoni has a guaranteed starting berth.
Furthermore, Yann Bisseck returns to the starting lineup after surrendering his place to Francesco Acerbi in the first leg.
Meanwhile, Manuel Akanji starts in the middle of Chivu’s traditional back three.
Therefore, veteran center-backs Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi start on the bench.
Meanwhile, Luis Henrique starts on the right wing at the expense of Matteo Darmian, with Denzel Dumfries expected to get some minutes off the bench.
On the opposite side, Federico Dimarco dislodges Carlos Augusto, who started in Norway.

Further changes take place in the middle of the park, where Piotr Zielinski takes Hakan Calhanoglu’s place after being rested in Norway.
Meanwhile, Nicolo Barella starts on the right side of Chivu’s midfield, with Davide Frattesi getting the nod ahead of Petar Sucic.
Indeed, the Italian midfielder makes his third consecutive start in all competitions despite his bleak performance against Lecce.
As for Sucic, his underwhelming displays in the last two games mean he’ll have to fight hard to regain Chivu’s trust.
Finally, Francesco Pio Esposito and Marcus Thuram lead the line in the absence of Lautaro Martinez.
