WRU EGM cancelled as chair steps down

Central Glamorgan Rugby Union has withdrawn its call for an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) after WRU chair Richard Collier-Keywood announced his resignation.

The CGRU proposed three motions, including a vote of no-confidence in Collier-Keywood and PRB chair Malcolm Wall, but cited the exits of both leaders as a reason to stop.

With Collier-Keywood stepping down in July and Wall having already left in March, the CGRU stated they have achieved their campaign objectives and now seek constructive engagement with the WRU board regarding governance changes.
