Toyota Signs 13-Year-Old Keelan Harvick to Long-Term Deal

Toyota Racing Development has signed 13-year-old Keelan Harvick, son of NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick, to a long-term driver deal as the teenager commits to a NASCAR career.

Keelan Harvick, 13, has committed to a NASCAR career after previously pursuing racing in Europe. The son of 2014 NASCAR champion Kevin Harvick will drive the No. 62 Toyota Camry with ExxonMobil sponsorship in late model races nationwide, partnering with RACKLEY W.A.R. and Kevin Harvick, Inc.

This marks a significant shift as Kevin Harvick spent his entire 23-year career driving for Chevrolet and Ford, never Toyota. The elder Harvick explained that Toyota's development process and focus on the 'human piece' of racing convinced them this was the right path for his son's career.
