Topps Returns to NFL Cards After 8-Year Hiatus

Topps will release NFL trading cards for the first time since 2016 after reaching a multi-year deal with the league and NFL Players Association through Fanatics Collectibles.

The first set, 2025 Topps Chrome Football, will debut on April 15. It will feature one-of-one Rookie PREM1ERE Patch Autograph Cards with patches from players' first regular-season games, including top pick Cam Ward, and NFL Honors Gold Shield Autograph Cards featuring 2024 award winners Josh Allen, Saquon Barkley, Patrick Surtain II, Jayden Daniels, and Jared Verse. Fanatics, which acquired Topps in 2022, now holds the exclusive trading card license for the NFL and NFLPA with global distribution rights.
