Skotheim Back on Track After Foot Surgery

Sander Skotheim (23) is on track to return to competition by the end of May after a foot surgery in January. The Norwegian thrower has completed his first post‑op training session and is eyeing the European Championships in Birmingham for his first senior medal.

He was injured around 20 January during a training camp, requiring repair of a ligament in his left foot. Skotheim has now had his first throw after surgery and is optimistic about a May return.

Skotheim missed the 2024 Paris Olympics and the 2025 Tokyo World Championships, but hopes to make his mark at the European Championships in Birmingham in August.
