Same Teams Repeat Final Four feat

For the second consecutive season, UConn, UCLA, Texas and South Carolina have reached the women's Final Four, a feat only accomplished once before in college basketball history.

The women's Final Four is on repeat as No. 1 seeds UConn, UCLA, Texas and South Carolina advanced to the final weekend for the second straight season. This marks only the second time in history the same four teams have reached the Final Four in consecutive years, following UConn, Tennessee, Stanford and Georgia from 1995-96.

Reigning national champion UConn (38-0) seeks its seventh undefeated season behind stars Sarah Strong and Azzi Fudd. The Huskies will face South Carolina in Phoenix, while UCLA takes on Texas. UConn has won 12 national championships and played in 25 Final Fours under coach Geno Auriemma, while South Carolina has reached seven of the past nine Final Fours under coach Dawn Staley.
