Oilers Lose Hyman to Injury, Draisaitl to Return

Edmonton Oilers will be without forward Zach Hyman for Saturday’s clash with the Vegas Golden Knights, while star centre Leon Draisaitl is set to return to skating in the coming days.

Hyman, 33, has 31 goals and 20 assists in 57 games this season and played 16:40 in Edmonton’s recent 3-1 win over Chicago. Coach Kris Knoblauch said the winger will be out with an undisclosed injury but would suit up if it were a playoff game.

Draisaitl, 30, has been sidelined since March 15 after a lower‑body injury. He had 35 goals and 62 assists in 65 games before the injury and is expected to resume skating soon, though he will not travel for the final road trip.
