Miller's Plan Dismantles Chakravarthy as Proteas Beat India

David Miller said a clear, disciplined approach was key to taking out India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy, as South Africa beat the defending champions by 76 runs.

South Africa outclassed India in the Super 8, posting 187/7 and dismissing the hosts for 111. Miller finished on 63 off 35, while Dewald Brevis added 45 off 29.

In a post‑match interview, Miller said the key was “clarity of thought and disciplined execution.” He added that the Proteas had focused on taking the spinner down, sticking to basics and trusting the line on a low‑turn surface.
