After a fastball struck his hand, Mike Trout missed the first game of the series but is back in the Angels lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Braves.

Trout was injured when a fastball hit his hand during the Sunday game against the Mariners, causing him to miss the Monday opener. He returned to the lineup for Tuesday’s game, batting second and playing center field for the Angels.

With a .212/.435/.424 slash line this season and strong on-base skills, Trout remains a key offensive catalyst for the Angels as they chase the division lead.
