Maryland Hires Clint Trickett as Offensive Coordinator

Maryland football is reportedly set to hire Clint Trickett as their new offensive coordinator, replacing Pep Hamilton.

Sources report that the Terrapins will hire former Jacksonville State coordinator Clint Trickett. Trickett previously served as Arkansas' quarterbacks coach and led JSU to the top total offense in Conference USA in 2025.

Pep Hamilton will transition to a senior advisor role. Trickett, a former quarterback for Florida State and West Virginia, is the fifth offensive coordinator in eight years under head coach Michael Locksley.
