Real Madrid secured a 1-1 draw against Manchester City in the Champions League League phase, showing great collective maturity despite the result feeling insufficient before their upcoming Clásico against Barcelona.

Madrid took the lead through Linda Caicedo's individual brilliance in the first half. After halftime, Manchester City equalized with a goal from Bunny Shaw, but Madrid's defense held firm against the English team's attacks.

The Spanish side nearly secured a win when Irune came close to scoring, and Silvia Cristóbal's 88th-minute goal was disallowed. The result leaves Madrid preparing for their highly anticipated match against Barcelona. cat-cross.com
