Leicester Lose Appeal, Six-Point Deduction Stands

Leicester City have been denied an appeal over a six‑point deduction imposed for breaching EFL financial rules, keeping them 22nd in the Championship with five matches remaining.

Leicester City’s appeal against the six‑point penalty, imposed in February for breaching English Football League financial regulations, was rejected. The deduction has pushed the club into a precarious position, five points off safety with five games to play, and could see them relegated to League One after a decade from their Premier League triumph.
