The New York Knicks dismantled the Atlanta Hawks 140-89 in Game 6, setting a historic record as the first road team to score 100 points before the home team reached 50.

The Knicks led 83-36 at halftime and finished the game with a dominant 51-point victory. This historic win broke a trend that had stood since the 1996-97 season, where no road team had ever reached 100 points before the home team scored 50.
