Haiti and the Democratic Republic of the Congo have qualified for the 2026 World Cup, ending a 52‑year drought, while Iraq returns after 40 years.

Haiti secured a CONCACAF berth and DR Congo beat Jamaica in the play‑in to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, their first appearance since 1974. Iraq also earned a spot by defeating Bolivia, marking its first participation since 1986.
