FIFA Accuses UEFA of Misinformation Against Infantino

FIFA has accused UEFA of waging a 'misinformation campaign' against president Gianni Infantino and attempting to influence the upcoming FIFA presidential election.

FIFA is urging a US court to reject a discovery request from UEFA, which is seeking testimony and documents for a planned criminal complaint in Switzerland against FIFA president Gianni Infantino. The complaint relates to an abandoned plan to transfer World Cup commercial rights to a subsidiary called FIFA Forward Enterprise (FFE).

In a court filing, FIFA denied claims of FFE undervaluation and accused UEFA of trying to influence the race for FIFA's presidency through its legal actions. librea.one
