Dominique Rhymes Retires After Eight CFL Seasons

Dominique Rhymes has officially retired after an eight-season CFL career, the 32-year-old receiver announced on Friday.

Rhymes leaves the league with 372 career receptions for 5,822 yards and 32 touchdowns. His best season came in 2022 with the B.C. Lions, where he caught 85 passes for 1,401 yards and 11 scores, earning a CFL All-Star nod.

The six-foot-four, 215-pound target most recently played for the Calgary Stampeders, where he averaged 17.7 yards per reception in 2024.
