Dodgers Name Skubal NLDS Game 1 Starter

Tarik Skubal, the Dodgers' biggest midseason acquisition from Detroit, will take the mound for Game 1 despite his initial struggles with the team. The left-handed ace finished the regular season with a 3-2 record and 2.52 ERA in eight starts, regaining the form that made him one of baseball's most feared pitchers.

Skubal's expected start could allow Yoshinobu Yamamoto or Blake Snell to pitch Game 2. The Dodgers are in the postseason for the 14th consecutive season, while the Braves' starter remains uncertain, potentially being Chris Sale who pitched in both Game 2 and Game 3 of their wild-card series against the Phillies. zeppelin.cool
