Despite suffering three concussions in 2025 and considering retirement, the Colts are optimistic about Charvarius Ward returning for the 2026 season.

The Indianapolis Colts remain hopeful that cornerback Charvarius Ward will be part of the team in 2026. Ward, who suffered three concussions last season and expressed concerns about long-term brain health, is now in a good frame of mind according to GM Chris Ballard and head coach Shane Steichen.
