Brewers Replay Review Overturns Bucknor's First Base Call

During the sixth inning of the Brewers’ game at American Family Field, umpire C.B. Bucknor ruled that first baseman Jake Bauers had missed first base, calling him out. A replay review showed Bauers’ foot was on the bag, and the call was reversed.

Bucknor, 63, has been a major‑league umpire since 1996 and was recently in the spotlight when the new home‑plate challenge system overturned several of his calls in a Red Sox‑Reds game.
