Barca extend La Liga lead with Atletico win as Madrid slip up

Robert Lewandowski's late goal secured a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, moving Barcelona seven points clear at the top of La Liga.

Barca capitalized on Real Madrid's 2-1 loss to Mallorca earlier in the day. Marcus Rashford equalized before Lewandowski scored the winner in the 87th minute.

Atletico midfielder Nico Gonzalez was sent off before halftime, though Barcelona struggled to make their man advantage count. Coach Hansi Flick acknowledged the title race isn't over despite the significant lead.
