Alabama basketball closed the 2025-26 season ranked 16th in the final USA Today Coaches Poll, while early projections placed the Tide anywhere from 6th to 20th.

The Crimson Tide landed at No. 16 in the final USA Today Coaches Poll. Early projections varied significantly, with Fox Sports projecting Alabama at No. 6, ESPN at No. 20, and On3 at No. 17. The Athletic notably left Alabama unranked.

Despite a new contract for coach Nate Oats through 2032, a key starter is reportedly planning to enter the 2026 transfer portal.
