The former pacer had previously called Naqvi 'incompetent and illiterate' during an Indian news channel appearance, questioning his suitability for the PCB chairman role. Akhtar also weighed in on criticism surrounding Pakistan's star players following their defeat to India, noting that Shaheen Afridi is not fit to bowl over 125 kmph and suggesting Babar Azam should be played as an opener.
