Abel Antón to Run Final Marathon in Berlin 2027

Double marathon world champion Abel Antón has announced that his final marathon will be held in Berlin in 2027, where he will run alongside the Aural Team.

The two-time marathon world champion and Princess of Asturias Sports Award winner in 1997 chose Berlin for his farewell race as it holds special significance. Antón triumphed in the German capital in 1996 with a time of 2h09:15.

The announcement was made during the 60th anniversary celebration of Aural Centros Auditivos in Valencia, where the athlete confirmed his participation in the Aural Team for his final marathon in 2027. sports24.club
