Published September 26, 2026 · Updated September 26, 2026 · NBC Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed rookie guard Jennings Dunker on injured reserve due to an MCL sprain suffered during practice.

The Steelers made the roster move on Saturday, with Dunker, a third-round pick from Iowa, being inactive for the first two games. The team filled his roster spot by signing running back Travis Homer from the practice squad and elevated running back Lew Nichols and defensive back Doneiko Slaughter from the practice squad. akupunkturabielsko.pl

The Steelers need the help at running back against the Bengals, as Rico Dowdle is out with a toe injury and Jaylen Warren is questionable with a shoulder injury. Dunker is expected to miss 4-6 weeks with the MCL sprain.
