Saints waive Austin, Welch

The New Orleans Saints have waived receiver Kevin Austin Jr. and tight end Treyton Welch.

The Saints made the corresponding roster moves after adding offensive tackle Mason Murphy from the Bears and defensive tackle Colby Wooden from the Colts earlier on Monday. Austin, 26, appeared in 16 games for New Orleans over the last two seasons, catching 13 passes for 140 yards with a touchdown in eight contests in 2025.
