Packers QB Taylor Elgersma Invited to NFL Combine

Former Packers training‑camp quarterback Taylor Elgersma has been invited to the 2026 NFL Combine to throw in drills and showcase his arm to scouts. Elgersma hopes a strong performance will earn him a roster spot this year.

Taylor Elgersma, a 6‑ft‑5, 227‑lb quarterback who spent three months on the Green Bay Packers’ 90‑player roster last summer, will attend the NFL Combine in Indianapolis to throw in drills. His primary role is to help scouts evaluate wide receivers, tight ends, running backs and defensive backs, but he also aims to impress teams with his arm strength.

Elgersma went undrafted after earning first‑team All‑Canadian honors at Laurier University in Ontario. He has been drafted by the Canadian Football League and the United Football League, and he completed 16 of 23 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown in the Packers’ preseason last year.
