Macdonald: Ball Will Find Shaheed

Published September 30, 2026 · Updated October 1, 2026 · NBC Sports

Seahawks coach Mike Macdonald remains confident that receiver Rashid Shaheed's offensive production will increase despite his limited numbers through the first three games.

Through three games, Shaheed has recorded only six catches for 53 yards, prompting questions about his role in the offense. Macdonald addressed the concerns, stating "the ball's finding [Jaxon Smith-Njigba] a lot right now... but it will" find Shaheed too.

In contrast, Smith-Njigba has 27 catches for 405 yards and six touchdowns, while Cooper Kupp has eight catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. Shaheed remains valuable on special teams with seven punt returns for 67 yards and seven kickoff returns for 190 yards. sos-zagle.org.pl
