Montgomery VanGorder, who joined the Eagles last season as a quality control coach, will now serve as assistant quarterbacks coach under Parks Frazier, who was recently promoted to quarterbacks coach from passing game coordinator. The move comes after the Eagles hired Sean Mannion as their new offensive coordinator from the Packers.
The Eagles staff changes follow Jalen Hurts' inconsistent season, with Frazier, VanGorder, and Mannion now tasked with helping the quarterback find consistency. VanGorder played at Notre Dame from 2014-17 before transferring to Youngstown State in 2018. He began his coaching career at Georgia in 2019, where he served as offensive quality control coach through 2024.
