Cowboys to Face Ravens in NFL's First Rio Game

The NFL announced that the Dallas Cowboys will face the Baltimore Ravens in the league's first game in Rio de Janeiro during Week 3 of the 2026 season.

The Cowboys-Ravens matchup will take place at Maracanã Stadium, which hosted the 2014 FIFA World Cup final. The game marks the NFL's expansion into Rio after previously holding Week 1 games in São Paulo the past two seasons. With more than 36 million NFL fans in Brazil, the league is continuing its international growth strategy.

This will be one of nine international games for the NFL in 2026, including the first regular-season game in Melbourne, Australia. The Cowboys haven't played an international game since 2014, while the Ravens have previously played in London in 2017 and 2023.
