UNC reportedly intends to hire former Denver Nuggets head coach Mike Malone as its next men's basketball coach, according to ESPN's Pete Thamel.

The University of North Carolina reportedly intends to hire longtime NBA coach Mike Malone as its next basketball coach, sources told ESPN. Malone won an NBA Championship with the Denver Nuggets in 2022-23 and has compiled 510 wins as an NBA head coach.
