Reds Recall Antone After Pagan Injury

Cincinnati Reds are recalling pitcher Tejay Antone 759 days after his third Tommy John surgery to bolster their bullpen following closer Emilio Pagan's hamstring injury.

Antone, 32, has been effective at the AAA level in 2026, posting a 2.25 ERA with 15 strikeouts in 12 appearances. The Reds must create a 40-man roster spot for him, potentially by moving Pagan to the 60-day IL. h-doctor.club

The move comes amid a 5-game losing streak for Cincinnati, which faces Chicago tonight at Wrigley Field with their bullpen in flux.
