The Los Angeles Lakers kicked off the weekend with a 125-122 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday night. They'll look to end the weekend with a win over the rival Boston Celtics on Sunday.
The Celtics won the first meeting of the season between the two teams in December, so the Lakers will be seeking some revenge this time around.
Luka Doncic will play vs. Celtics on Sunday night
After missing four straight games before the All-Star break due to a left hamstring strain, star guard Luka Doncic isn't listed on the official injury report for the game, so he'll be out on the floor against Boston. It will be the second consecutive game played by Doncic since returning from the injury.
On the season, Doncic has played in 43 games for L.A. and posted averages of 33.0 points, 8.6 assists, 7.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals per performance.
In addition to Doncic, Lakers star forward LeBron James will also be available for the game against Boston.
Meanwhile, the Celtics will continue to be without star forward Jayson Tatum, who has missed the entire season to this point after suffering a torn Achilles in the playoffs last year. It remains to be seen if Tatum will return to game action for the Celtics this season.
