The Washington Wizards on Thursday announced injury updates regarding the status of Trae Young and Anthony Davis.

Young, who has yet to appear for Washington since the team acquired him from the Atlanta Hawks on Jan. 7, has “progressed positively” in his recovery from an MCL sprain and a quad contusion. The 28-year-old guard will ramp up his on-court activities and be re-evaluated in one week.

Davis, who suffered ligament damage to his left hand in early January, remains sidelined following a recent doctor’s appointment. The 32-year-old has still not been cleared for basketball activities and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Wizards General Manager Will Dawkins said on Feb. 10 that it’s “highly likely” both Davis and Young make their Wizards debuts this season.
